Plextor® Corporation is a developer and manufacturer of high performance CD storage devices. Plextor America sells its industry-leading products through VARs and distributors throughout the world.
Working closely with Plextor’s Howard Wing, comprehensive integrated marketing communications and advertising programs were created and managed over a 5 year period, including: strategic marketing, non-stop product launch support, product collateral, consumer product packaging, Web site design and evolution, and PR support.
Schaub&Company developed the creative and supported yearly national advertising campaigns, including media planning and placement in trade and end user publications, both print and Web. Advertising was directed to VARS, IT directors, the channel, and directly to the end user. Campaigns revolved around leveraging Plextor’s top rating with the industry and with professionals – to grow it’s expanding end user market share.
Key market focus studies were conducted to determine Plextor’s core messaging strategy, and to provide points of differentiation of Plextor products in a highly competitive commodity market. Findings informed consumer packaging messages and graphics.
