Working in close collaboration with Theron Schaub, we designed the “Theron Magic” trademark, a playful concept of secrets (magic personified by the rabbit), hiding in plain sight.
Theron and I co-created an original deck of playing cards targeted to professional magicians and collectors, beginning with the Shifters ambigram logo produced by artist Tiffany Harvey – a calligraphic design that incorporates two different readings into the selfsame set of curves. The deck includes the card back designs, packaging, and original illustrations of the Joker and Ace by Canadian artist Curt Shoultz. First release is a beautiful blue, but word on the street is they may soon be available in chocolate, as shown here.
